1. From the outside in. With the continuous improvement of CNC lathe technology, the failure rate of the lathe itself is becoming lower and lower, and most of the lathe failures are caused by non-system reasons. Maintenance personnel should investigate in accordance with the principle of surface and inside, and try to avoid unsealing and disassembling CNC lathes at will, otherwise the scope of failure may be expanded, resulting in the loss of CNC lathe processing accuracy and performance reduction.
2. From host to electrical. Compared with general CNC lathe failure, host faults are easier to diagnose, while CNC system and electrical faults are very difficult to diagnose. From a large number of practical examples, most of the failures of CNC machine tools are caused by the failure of the host part. Therefore, before fault diagnosis, we must first consider eliminating mechanical faults, which can often achieve the purpose of multiplying the results with half the effort.
3. From static to dynamic. When the CNC lathe fails, the lathe should first be observed, tested and analyzed in the case of the lathe power failure, and then powered on when it is determined that it will not cause more faults and lathe accidents after the power is applied. After power-up, dynamic observation, inspection and testing are carried out in the operating state of the machine to diagnose faults. Foreseeable faults after power-on must be eliminated before power-on.
4. From easy to difficult. When multiple faults occur at the same time, simple faults should be eliminated first, and then difficult faults should be solved. When troubleshooting difficult faults, it is also necessary to start with the common causes Z and then analyze the more complex causes.
