The inspection points for vertical lathes include the following aspects:
1. Positioning of workbench and workpiece:
The vertical lathe worktable should have a positioning plate to prevent the four-claw base from withdrawing.
When processing eccentric workpieces on a vertical lathe, a counterweight iron must be added to maintain the balance of the workbench, and the counterweight iron must be clamped securely to prevent it from being thrown out and injuring people.
Chip baffles should be installed around the vertical lathe worktable to prevent injuries when the table rotates.
Vertical lathe worktables should be fenced to prevent injuries during rotation.
2. Stroke and motion mechanism:
The friction clutch in the rapid travel mechanism of the vertical lathe must be intact and can protect it when the load is too large.
The vertical lathe should be equipped with a limit device to prevent the crossbeam and tool holder from exceeding the stroke when moving.
The safety pin in the safety coupler in the vertical lathe feed box must meet the design requirements to prevent accidents caused by overload.
3.Safety protection and operation:
The vertical lathe triangle belt and the coupling between the main motor and the gearbox should be equipped with protective covers.
All operating handwheels of vertical lathes should have positioning devices and obvious gear signs. The bolts and nuts that hold down the handwheels should be complete, intact, and tightened.
The operating platform should have railings and bottom guards.
Tool measuring tools are not allowed to be placed on the crossbeam tool holder.
The workpiece and tool must be fastened well. Before the workpiece is clamped, the workpiece can only be corrected by jogging. It is necessary to keep a certain distance between the human body and the rotating body.
4. Electrical and hydraulic:
Check the main power line and cable connections to ensure that the wiring lines are correct and there is no short circuit or leakage.
Check the wiring of the motor and driver, and check whether the motor reverse rotation and overload protection functions are normal.
Check the hydraulic system to ensure that the hydraulic components are working properly.
5. Machine tool accuracy:
Check the CNC vertical lathe spindle and its chuck to ensure that the accuracy complies with specifications.
6. Lubrication and cooling system:
Clean and dredge the lubrication and cooling system, including oil holes, oil cups, oil lines, and linoleum filter devices, to ensure that the inside and outside of the oil tank, oil pool, and filter device are clean and free of scale and impurities.
The oil window should be clear and bright, the oil mark should be eye-catching, the oil should be refueled in place, and the oil quality should meet the requirements.
Oil guns and oil cans should be clean and easy to use, oil nozzles and oil cups should be complete, and hand pumps and oil pumps should be easy to use.
The oil lines of the vertical lathe should be complete, the linoleum should not be aged, the lubricating oil circuit should be smooth, and there should be no oil or water leakage.
Please note that these inspection points are to ensure the normal operation and safety of the vertical lathe and should be carried out regularly, with corresponding adjustments and maintenance based on the actual situation. When conducting inspections, be sure to follow relevant safety operating procedures to avoid accidents.
